Weber Ceramic Blue Dog 50 Watt

Tried a different weber then this one.

At the other end the 100 watt is warm smooth yet is detailed and clear with very good definition. The rig was too much amp so i switched to a 1x12 combo but could never quite get the sound i wanted. The 15 watt is aggressive bright with a complex and textured midrange and upper midrange bite. 4 75 no cover 5 375 with cover cutout size.

At the other end the 100 watt is warm smooth yet is detailed and clear with very good definition. Bright clear big natural low end lots of chime and ring detail that doesn t get hard or harsh at high volumes more headroom than the alnico version. It is not broke in yet but it fixed the problem. As with the blue dog the 75 and 100 watt models use very high temperature voice coils that are the same weight and mass as the lower power voice coils.

Great low end from the silver bell while retaining clarity and definition from the blue dog. Also available with weber s hemp cone which is a smoother darker tone with less attack great for taming treble. When i ran a 50 watt head tube rectified traynor bassmaster i also had a 2x12 cab loaded with a weber blue alnico and ceramic speaker. Try pairing this with a silver bell in a 2 12 combination.

This amp is much more usable for me now. Classic vox blue tone with ceramic punch and big low end. The result is the overall sound is complemented and improved by the speaker increasing and making more authentic the 60 s supro ness of the tone. My made in china ac15 was way too bright sounding.
