Wd 40 specialist industrial strength degreaser quickly cleans machinery engines and equipment to look like new and run smooth.

From what i have learned wd 40 is made from fish oil.
Wd 40 is a water displacing.
Oil gradually dissolves rubber so this can be an issue.
Phosphates will turn your flakes to powder.
Temporarily it s ok but you don t want to have something made of rubber wet with wd40 for a long period.
Most liquid dish soaps contain phosphates which attack aluminum.
It should be fine on tires.
I use gojo hand cleaner.
It will dry out and damage rubber and plastic.
Non latex based synthetic rubber is probably entirely ok however but check the specifications to be sure.
You should not use wd 40 on rubber or plastics.
